It has been 20 years since the revolution that changed Panem forever. The Hunger Games are nothing but a crimson stain on the bloody history that belongs to this once broken and corrupt country. Under new leadership, Panem is now a thriving epicenter of commerce, trade, travel, and culture. Barriers between districts were destroyed and friendly fellowship became the new normal.
Although the Capitol is still both loved and feared by the citizens of the districts, it is no longer viewed as the highest power. Several years after the uprising, President Hawthorne saw to it that the Capitol be stripped of it's ridiculous antics and begin functioning as a normal society. The one thing the new President could not change, however, was the fashion.
District 12 was rebuilt shortly after the revolution. It's citizens were allowed to return home in peace and rebuild their lives. Although it took some time, District 12 is once again a thriving community. Amongst the other districts, people came together and began rebuilding their own cities with a promising new hope for the future.
Now, twenty years later, those members of the revolution that we all know and love find themselves building their own families and lives. Many have watched their children grow and prosper in a world free of fear of being called at the reaping. Some have returned to their home but others have moved far away to escape the horrible memories that come with home.
For now, life is quiet, but how long will that last? It has been seen that a small group of rebels have begun forming in Districts 1 and 2, ready to take down the new Capitol and return it to it's former glory and reinstate the games. Can the original gang keep a high profile and resist the new rebellion or is it time for the next generation to step up and take their place?
